Ex-Offenders

For California Parolees

California New Start provides employment education and job opportunities within communities through direct connection to over 200 local One-Stop Career Centers statewide.

Parolees may be referred through their Parole Agent of Record or through attendance at the Parole and Community Team (PACT) meetings.

Services available to each eligible parolee are:

  • Job search seminars
  • Individual empoyment plans
  • Job development workshops
  • Supportive service referrals
  • Employment referrals
  • Job retention follow-up

*If you are an ex-offender, but not a California State parolee, you are welcome to take full advantage of our standard services as well as apply for our extended services program.
