  • Do I need to make an appointment to come in?

    No, to use all of our standard services, you do not need to make an appointment. You can just come by and walk in!
  • What time are you open?

    We are open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. However, we are closed an hour for lunch from Noon to 1pm.
  • Do your services cost anything?

    No. The vast majority of our services are 100% free.
  • If everything's free, how do you get your stay in business?

    We are a non-profit that receives various government grants to provide the services we offer.
  • I want to change my profession and become a _________. Can you pay for my training to do this?

    Though our standard services are free to all, cost-free training is only provided to a limited amount of people enrolled in our extended services program, on a case-by-case basis. To see if you're eligible to receive our extended services, view our eligibility requirements.
  • I think I may be eligible for your extended services. How can I apply?

    The first step is to come in for an orientation where we can tell you about our programs and all the services we offer. Orientations are walk-in and happen on Mondays at 10am and Wednesdays at 2pm. You don't need an appointment to attend.
  • I'm a senior and I want to learn to use a computer.

    On some Fridays, we have volunteers that can help you one-on-one to learn basic computer skills such as using a mouse and keyboard, surfing the internet, and setting up e-mail. Please call (562) 946-2237 to find out what times our volunteers are available.
